Put the booking form on your website

Your booking page works on its own — you can simply link to it. But most venues want the form sitting on their own site, in their own colours, so a diner never leaves. That takes one paste.

Where the code is

Sign in at thezi.app/admin.
Open the menu (the cog, top right) and choose Your website.
Under Put the booking form on your own website, press Copy the code.

That code is a few lines that tell your site to show the form and to make it exactly as tall as it needs to be. You do not need to understand it, and you should not change it.

Then follow the guide for your site

Not sure which you use? Sign in to wherever you edit your website — the name is on the sign-in page. If someone else built your site, send them this page; it will take them two minutes.

If you would rather just link to it

A Book a table button that opens your booking page works on any site, on any plan, with no code at all. Every site builder can add a button; give it your booking link, which is under Your website too. Diners get the same form, just on its own page rather than inside yours.

What the form does on your site

It uses the colours you chose under Your website, so it looks like part of your site rather than a bolt-on.
It never repeats your name. Your page has already said who you are, so the form starts at the booking.
If you take card holds, the card step opens on Stripe in the full window, never inside the form. That is a rule Stripe has, and a good one.
Every booking arrives in your dashboard at once, same as bookings made from the link or from Google.

Check it worked

Open your website as a diner would, on your phone, and make a booking. Then open your dashboard, find it under Bookings and cancel it. If the form is there but looks cut off, the page you are on says what to do.
