Add the booking form to Wix

You will need: your embed code (see where the code is).

The Wix Editor

1. Open your site in the Editor and go to the page you want the form on.
2. Press Add Elements (the + on the left).
3. Choose Embed Code, then Embed HTML. A box appears on the page.
4. With the box selected press Enter Code.
5. Make sure Code is selected (not Website address), paste your embed code, and press Update.
6. Drag the box to where you want the form and make it as wide as the page content.
7. Make the box tall enough. Wix puts embedded code inside its own frame, so the form cannot grow the box for you. Drag its bottom edge down until the whole form shows — about 900 pixels tall is right for most venues. Check the mobile view too (the phone icon, top left) and do the same there.
8. Press Publish.

Wix Studio

1. Open the page, press Add Elements (+).
2. Choose Embed & Social, then Embed HTML.
3. Select the box, press Enter Code, paste, Update.
4. Size it as in step 7 above, on every breakpoint, then Publish.

If you would rather use a button

Add a button anywhere, give it the text Book a table, press Link, choose Web address, paste your booking link and tick New window. No code needed and nothing to size.

Things people ask

• The form is cut off at the bottom. Make the Embed HTML box taller. Wix will not do it for you.
• The form is blank on the live site. Wix waits for the visitor to accept cookies before loading embeds on some sites. Check your cookie banner settings under Settings → Privacy & Cookies, or use the button route.
• The form is tiny on phones. Switch to the mobile editor and stretch the box to the full width there.
